About Us

Farmed by AJ & Kim Booth, we raise our beef on 40 beautiful acres in Delavan, WI. We have three boys, Caleb, Connor and Cashton. Grateful for the opportunity to raise our family on our farm, we understand that in today's world of agriculture it is hard to do. We both work off the farm. AJ, a public works employee allows flexible hours to still have time to work on the farm. Kim, a middle school teacher, allows summers off to work on the farm during the height of the growing season in Wisconsin. Raising our children to learn and understand the values and work ethic that farming requires is a priority for us. 

We are passionate about maintaining the future of agriculture. We believe in sharing about farming with our customers and followers. We are always looking to educate people on where and how their food is produce.

Sharing our love for farming stems from us spending our childhoods in 4H and FFA. It is still important for us to connect with people in our community about agriculture. We enjoy taking our beef animals to the Walworth County Fair and meeting current and future customers. Our kids have begun showing cattle and developing thier own love for 4H. Connecting agriculture to the consumer is our priority! 

Both of  us have grown up being immersed in agriculture. Kim, grew up on a beef and crop farm where her dad continues to farm 200 acres in Delavan, WI. AJ, grew his passion for farming through a family friend where he worked doing custom farming in Walworth County. In 2009,  we bought our first small hobby farm on 6 acres and Kim purchased her first cow and calf pair that she showed at the Walworth County Fair. In 2018 we were blessed to grow our farm by purchasing 40 acres, right down the road from our first farm. We look forward to serving past customers of Van De Boom Organic Farms.
